Chapel

ChapelThe School’s Chapel is situated on the top floor of Scholes Building and is used for many services and festivals.

It is used for a number of weekly Assembles throughout the year and every Thursday the Boarders meet there for their weekly service.

As we are a Christian school, worship and community are at the very heart of the life and mission of St John’s College. Assemblies at various levels within the school, and regular acts of collective worship are among the principal means of enabling and encouraging practice and development in these areas.

As a school with a strong Christian ethos, we offer all our pupils the service and support of our Chaplaincy Team, which includes members of staff as well as our community of Brothers.

The Chapel is also the home to our Chapel Choir, you can read more about the Choir here

The music clip below is from the Chapel Choir’s Tour of Italy (August 2012), it is a piece sung by our Choral Scholars (and is just for men’s voices).
