Sixth Form

Once in the Sixth Form there will be periods within student’s timetables that are allocated for study. All courses require research, reading, and revision of notes in addition to work set, so students should never find themselves without work to do.  AS students will be expected to study around six hours per subject per week outside the classroom.  This will increase to 8 Hours in the A2 year. Notes and work completed should be reviewed after each lesson, and any problems or questions discussed with the subject teacher.  At this stage students are expected to use their initiative to organise an effective study programme.
