Monday May 27 – Friday 31 May
22 pupils from Year 5 and three staff spent their half term break on an adventure holiday at Little Canada on the Isle of Wight.
Monday’s mission was to travel to Little Canada. The group arrived in the afternoon and after unpacking we were shown around the site and the children were given their programme of events for the holiday.

St John's Singing Day
Last Friday, 3 May, was the inaugural St John’s Singing Day which took place all day in the NBH.
In total over 150 children aged between 9 and 13 years spent a day of fun and music making. Of the 150 children, approximately 100 were visitors to St John’s. The choirs of Oakwood School, Sherborne House School and King’s Court School joined our St John’s Junior School Choir, Girls’ Choir and the Chapel Choir.

A party of 39 pupils and four staff spent the first week of the Easter break visiting the Chateau du Broutel in Rue, France. The week was spent visiting WWI historic sites as well as enjoying the French way of life with visits to a chocolate factory, a goat farm, a bakery and a number of hours exploring a French market.
